Cosmopolitan

A Greek comedian in Sweden trying to survive English. A hilarious show about accents, culture & misunderstanding everything.

Aliki Tsakoumi – Live Stand-Up Comedy in Vienna

What happens when a confident Greek comedian lives in Sweden… and performs in English?

Confusion.

A lot of confusion.

And a very funny comedy show.

About the Show

In Cosmopolitan, Greek comedian Aliki Tsakoumi takes audiences through the chaos of trying to understand the world while not fully understanding… well, anything.

Living abroad, speaking a second language and navigating completely different cultures has created the perfect recipe for misunderstandings, awkward moments and accidental comedy gold.

Expect stories about:

- accents and language disasters

- families and cultural expectations

- tourists and local habits

- crossing borders (and pedestrian crossing lines)

- and the strange experience of trying to belong everywhere and nowhere at once

If you've ever tried to explain yourself in another language…

This show is for you.
